Privacy Policy
Your repair details are not our content. The app stores your answers and history on your iPhone. Tepesoft does not receive them.
Last updated: July 31, 2026
The short version
- No account, profile, email address, phone number, contacts, microphone, camera, or location permission is required to use the app.
- Conflict topics, feelings, needs, reflections, ownership, wishes, plans, ratings, and recovery history stay on your device.
- Apple and RevenueCat process anonymous purchase and entitlement information. They do not receive your repair content.
- The website loads Umami and Microsoft Clarity only if you choose to allow optional analytics.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers the After the Argument iPhone app, this website, and support messages sent to Tepesoft. Tepesoft is the developer and data controller for information it receives directly.
Data stored only on your device
The app stores the following data in protected local storage:
- Repair date, surface topic, and intensity.
- Feelings, needs, ownership, wishes, and next-time plans.
- Activation ratings, felt-understood ratings, and recovery-time selections.
- Repair milestones and locally calculated progress metrics.
The repair file is written with iOS complete file protection. Tepesoft does not operate an account or cloud-sync service for this information in version 1.
Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes App Store purchases. RevenueCat helps the app verify purchases, restore access, and keep subscription entitlement state current. Apple and RevenueCat may process:
- An anonymous app-user identifier.
- Product, transaction, trial, renewal, cancellation, refund, and entitlement information.
- Basic technical information needed to deliver and troubleshoot purchase access.
RevenueCat never receives your conflict topic, partner identity, feelings, needs, reflections, repair plan, recovery notes, or share-card content from the app.
Share cards
Share cards are created locally and shown to you before sharing. Default cards omit names, partner identity, dates, topics, feelings, needs, and private reflections. A card leaves the app only when you choose a destination in the iOS share sheet.
Website analytics
This website can use self-hosted Umami analytics and Microsoft Clarity only after you select Allow analytics. If you decline, those scripts are not loaded.
When allowed, analytics may process page views, referral information, browser and device attributes, approximate location derived from an IP address, clicks, scrolling, and session interaction data. Clarity can create heatmaps and session replays. Sensitive form values are not collected because this site has no text-entry support form.
Your choice is stored in your browser. You can clear site data to reset it. Analytics is used to understand site performance and which product information is useful, not to build advertising profiles or track you across unrelated apps.
Support messages
If you email support, Tepesoft receives the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request, troubleshoot the app, prevent abuse, and keep a reasonable support record.
Do not send private conflict details, partner names, or information that is not needed to explain the technical or purchase issue.
Retention and deletion
- Repair data: remains on your device until you use Delete all repair data or delete the app.
- Purchase data: is retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and service obligations.
- Support messages: are kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer, document, or protect the support process.
- Website analytics: follows the retention settings configured in Umami and Microsoft Clarity.
Deleting local app data does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
Your choices
- Delete all repair data inside the app.
- Preview and cancel any share before it leaves your device.
- Decline optional website analytics.
- Manage or cancel your subscription through Apple.
- Contact Tepesoft about support information or a privacy request.
Children
After the Argument is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect repair content from anyone because repair content remains on the device.
Safety and sensitive situations
Do not use a joint ritual when there is fear, coercion, stalking, threats, or physical violence. Move toward safety and contact local emergency services, a trusted person, or specialist support.
The app is not therapy, diagnosis, crisis support, abuse assessment, or a substitute for qualified professional care.
Service providers
Relevant provider policies include Apple Privacy, RevenueCat Privacy, and Microsoft Privacy.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the app, website, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected here before the related practice begins where practical.
